Every story needs a character who makes you just a little uncomfortable.
Congratulations.
You found him.
Billy likes to call this "Theater Rock," and he's probably right. The prelude opens the curtain and introduces a man who's convinced he's the darkest (and smartest) person in every room. He's charming enough to fool people...including himself.
Love has been wearing different masks through these first four chapters.
Here it wears control.
And obsession.
It's a fitting ending to Billy's four-song run.
We started with hope.
We passed through romance.
We waited.
And now we've wandered into the darker corners of the story.
Time to close that book...
